COMPOSITION Each Capsule Contains
PROPERTIES
Non steroidal Anti inflammatory.
INDICATION
Ibuprofen is used in the management of mild to moderate pain and inflammation in conditions such as dysmenorrhoea, migraine, post operative pain dental pain, musculoskeletal and joint disorders such as ankylosing spondylities, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, peri-articular disorders such a sprains and strains. It is also used to reduce fever.
DOSAGE
- For adults & children above 12 years.
- 1-2 onafen every 4 hours, or as directed by the physician.
- To be taken preferably after food.
SIDE EFFECTS
G.I intolerance , rash, rarely jaundice, thrombocytopenia neonates.
PRECAUTIONS
Asthma, bleeding disorders, cardiovascular disease and those receiving coumarin anticoagulants, aspirin / ant inflationary induces allergy, pregnancy and lactation.
CONTRA-INDICATION
Active peptic ulcer, G.I bleeding, hypersens neonates.
PHARMACEUTICAL PRECAUTION
Onafen tablets is to be stored in a cool and dark place.
